But then might not be. I expected it from Fisher but not you, seeing our talks over the last six months about rules.

If I remeber correctly there was the same amount of interest (different topic) at last year Nats for the same class. Something to do with a brushless speed control and jumping the date from it was going to be allowed. Well not much difference

And look what a disaster that turned out to be with guys turning up with motors that could do 28000 rpm

theres ample time to test the mo5 at club level before the 2010 season.
even if it is a demo class at a sanctioned national event ,i for one feel it should be run at 2009 rules but that is for the organizers of this event to decide

Denis,

The idea is to encourage more guys to race Mini. With the M05 obviously replacing the M03 any new potential racers will buy the M05 but would not be able to race at the Nats. It saves them having to buy a M03 and a M05 later.

The idea is to encourage more guys to race the Mini class. There has been quite a lot of interest from guys who dont race Mini to start racing by buying a M05.

As was said originally , it is only being considered. The idea is to encourage more to race

But back to the real topic .. the Nationals.

Talking to Brad it looks like this is going to be a well organised and catered event. For those travelling, camping is going to be allowed, even caravans if you have them. Overnight security service as well.

Starting to sound very good

Greg,

Can I trade my M03 for your M05 so that I can be encourage to run mini at the Nats.

Brad also mentioned he will be supplying promo girls sourced from his local beauty parlor.

I will most probably be running a M03L .. it is well sorted and I know it works well at Whalan

I am sure that the fast M03 guys will still be as fast/faster than the M05. It takes time to work out how to get the best from the Minis.

Dan,

Your already fast enough. So No. You have to run a MO3, just like me.

Calvin

Once again, so much for the MACCA's tire price cap of $35 a set.
