Hi folks and sorry for taking so long to get info posted here. Hopefully, I can cover most of it so everyone knows what is going on so here goes.......

The 2009 Club Series meetings will be hosted and run by each of the Nominated clubs, and they will be responsible for that meeting in all areas.
Each club agrees to be responsible for Race Control, Scrutineering, Grid Listings, Race Director (A Finals), Canteen, Track and Marshalling points.
The competition is open to all AARCMCC affiliated clubs.
The dates agreed to are as follows,

St Ives – March 29
Maitland – May 31
Ryde – July 5
Canberra – Aug 30
Illawarra – Oct 25

Entry will be $30 for 1st Class, $50 for 2 Classes and $60 for 3 Classes.

There will be 6 Classes,
2WD – Stock & Mod
Truck – Stock & Mod
4WD – Stock & Mod

No cross entering between Stock & Mod.

AARCMCC Rules will apply and the Race Directors decision will be final.
The 6 Club representatives will vote on any further protests.
A Club representative will be appointed for the purposes of communication, and contact/decisions on the day.
Clubs will be responsible for the Trophies for their own meeting - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trophies and 4th through 10th Medallions/Medals for all 'A' Finals.
There will be no 'C' Finals and if time is short, 'B' finals will be dropped and points will count where qualified.
All rounds will count. No dropped round.
A fee of $2 per entry will apply to cover establishing website, Driver and Club Points Score, Series Trophies, On-line and Paper entries, 'A' Final Video, Admin etc. Any left over funds will be equally divided among the clubs at the end of the season.
It will be a one day event on a Sunday with the preceding Saturday for practice.

Jason, the illawarra track held the state titles last year, track was awesome and well suited to the 1/10th

Ok and you are.
I went down to the track to get some pratice in befor
going down to the nats and the condition was very poor from
last drive down there.

I ended up only running around 2-3 laps as it was un driveable.

Lol.

Dont be so quick to judge. Minnie has been racing offroad longer than most and has been national champion. in multiple classes.

so yeah, he know what he is saying.

Just like any offroad track that has gas cars running on it, the surface is often no perfect for 1.10th.

again, like most clubs, befor a big event is hosted the surface is often touched up.

I think if you went down to Canberra befor the nationals it was in a worse condition than Alibion Park is.

So take it easy.

Mav, well done again, i've been readnig your post again, i like the changes made.

The addition of the 5th round for illawarra
Regs on the trophies
Dates close / same as original calendar and well spaced
All rounds counting to pointscore
Confirmation of one day event
Possible dropping lower finals for time (Unless mole is in the B, then we have to run it so we can cheer him on )

all well thought out and sensilble

Jason, yeah dont worry about the illawarra track, i think minnie like the rest of us probably only last saw it at the States where it had been prepped very nicely and was great for the 1/10ths and no doubt come october it will be in fine shape again, you should have come up to st ives for the unofficial nats warm up which painy attended, heheh

Thanks mate, should be good.
Ah yes, poor Mole. I know how he feels. I was BQ in 3 of the 4 rounds in 2007, and ended up 11th overall.
Maybe he won't want the 'B' final run if he ends up with BQ. At least he won't go backwards.

Hi Josh
Obviously like Mikey said no one has seen the track since the event.
I do know the track will be rerolled as ive done it many times
in the past befor a event.
Just shocked that Illawarra got CC round as it I thought it was
classed as a gas club,
Things have changed a lot in the past two years.

Ha Mikey I was going to drive up for that it would have been fun
but ended up falling sick on Friday so that killed that,
St Ives having a warm up meet befor the first round of the CC.
