Default Don't sing it, Bring it; The 2009 NSW I.C State Titles 8th and 10th scale

2009 NSW I.C State Titles

Entry forms to NSW's premier I.C AARCMCC sanctioned event are now available. This will probably be NSWRCRCC inc's biggest event of 2009. With the new track being built prior to the event you will be racing on one of the newest layed asphalt based RC tracks in Australia.

Grip will be high, Competition will be fierce and Entrant numbers will be huge.

Download the form and return it to the address provided to secure your spot in what will be a huge event. This will be Moorebank's first big event on our new track, so get in quick, book your hotel/motel, get your gear ready and head down to the track.

visit www.moorebankraceway.com for entry forms and conditions of entry for event

A quick question, once the new surface is laid is the club going to continue using VHT spray. Just need to know, so i can buy tires for the event before we get there.

Cheers

word is that we will not be using VHT for a long time. Infact, being a new surface i doubt there would be need for it anyway. with cars running on it for a few days straight grip will be quite high. Bring tyres as per what you run in QLD as it will be equal if not higher as it's a finer stone blend. Larger than the current blend we have laid, but smaller than Brendale's blend.

i'm guessing that 42 shores will be the go, but who knows, even the regular club members won't know until we try the new track. No doubt someone will post something here about the grip once the track is layed and we get to run on it....or will we

on other news,
I've made a video as a lead up to the event but i can't seem to get Veoh.com to upload the video at a high quality, for some reason the original file looks great but once uploaded all the resolution goes to shyt

If memory serves me correctly, the last time we laid a new track for the 2001 Worlds, we did not use VHT for a number of years after that.

Visit our club's site for the lead up event video.

www.moorebankraceway.com

get ready guys. You can also download a much higher quality version from Veoh.com. There are two versions, a large 1 gb file and a smaller 700mb file. For some reason Veoh doesn't upload with the same quality as it did previously

enjoy, and see you at our newly laid track in Easter

I take it this event will be run to full AARCMCC rules? Asking as it states that from 2009 on INS boxes and 3 chamber mufflers must be used for 1/10 scale. Is there a listing available of legal mufflers and are the INS boxes readily available?

Boyz,
I just got ahold of an OS Speed 12TZ Spec 2 and I was told to be quite particular in choosing a 3 Chamber pipe, any suggestions on what pipe to use.

Cheers
