im after some of that black double sided tape ya get in rc kits, ive bought a few different lots around locally and its all crap, so any suggestions of where to get it from please

The best double sided tape is the clear gel that comes with the Novak ESC's. You can buy them by the piece for around a $1.00 each. Most good car shops will stock them. There much better then the black double sided tape as the gel absorbs more shock and is a lot stickier as well. Plus it doesn't pull or rip apart when you need to pull it off.

You could try Autobarn and get some 3M Body Molding tape.

Its about 0.5 - 1mm thick with a green plastic backing.

Repco sells a double sided tape that's actually designed to hold body mouldings (ie pin stripes etc) onto the outside of a car. It's around $6-$7 a role and is the best I have used.

I have found the best double sided tape to be the 3M Scotch Exterior Mounting Tape which can be purchased from Bunnings. This tape is weather proof and will hold up to 2.3Kgs. This tape is grey in colour and 25mm wide. Has a red tear off plastic cover.

Since using this tape I have never had a speedie or servo come loose.

couldnt agree more...

I work for Repco and the stuff we sell is shite... ive tried it.
1 is the Novak stuff... thats my preferred.
2 3m stuff from Bunnings on the roll...
