Hoping someone can help, can I safely run 8 cells through my LRP 7.1 speedie ?? Do I need a BEC or does it take care of that also. Next question could I use 3 x A123 cells instead, 9.9v instead of 9.6v.

It's for a drag car I bought so the runs won't be long but they will be hard.
