Well, the wheels have started turning for next year. Yes, we have four clubs for on-road. Three of which have finalised dates, just waiting for the fourth. The issues with mini rules for next year are still being discussed, we should have a decision in the next week or so. It's not just CC09 we are looking at, but the whole eastern seaboard - so we are talking two different states. The dates for next year to start getting them in your calendar are: Feb 8, April 5, June14 and the last round will be August 15-16. Until we have the final four verified and locked in and those clubs have been notified the venues will not be released. We thought it would be a good idea to start letting drivers know what is happening next year so they can start planning for it. Will keep you up to date as info comes in. We hope to have it all locked in by the middle of December.

Is the general rule that the same track isn't used two years in a row? I'm just wondering if we'll get to go to lithgow again because that track is an absolute cracker.

Unfortunately the Lithgow club in its present form has folded. The track is still there, and the club still retains all the gear, but no decision has been reached (to my knowledge) on the long term future of the club. As such, CC09 will not be at Lithgow.
Fingers crossed it will get underway again and be back bigger and better in 2010. It would be a shame to lose it, cos it is a great track!

I agree. It was a great track. I enjoyed running around it for the last 2 club challenges.

OOk in brief after our meeting at Castle Hill last night we have our four clubs for next years CC09 series. First round will be at Windsor : 8th Febuary, Second round will be at SMA track on the 5th April, 3rd round will see the return of Castle Hill: 14th June and the forth and final round will be a two day as it has been in the last two years but at Bathurst: on the 15-16 of August. There has been some changes in the last couple of weeks but we think running three indoor track and a underlights outdoor we should have no problems with numbers and a small percentage of problem with rain. I hope all drivers and clubs will support these venues in lead to each event. Changes to web site hope to be done this week with all info on clubs and venues. also if we get the sponsorship we should be keep the live broadcast going for all of next year and if testing continues we will also be able to vid these events as well. Yes either can I. I was down at Windsor last week and had a good talk to Steve and Les in regards to this round so looks Like i will be be make a few more visits in the next month. The plan is to start out with a bang with a live broadcast to the net for this event both text and vid so will see how it all goes. Should have the online entry form up no later that Christmas once the rules have been put to paper.
