Kewl....

Only have to wait to early feb for the 1st big race of the year...

I have heard that bathurst is a "strange" surface... Something to do with a indoor basketball court so I guess we are running on wood?

Its carpet, actually an indoor soccer court. It gives very good grip, but takes some getting used to. The club runs every monday night if you're able to make it for a clubbie.

As I have heard from the Bathurst boys its very much like Canberra carpet. There setup didn't change much between the two. The classes will be the same as last year - mod, super stock (aka 19t), stock, 540 and mini.

More bl**dy carpet or is it a good thing what sort of track barriers do they use?

We're putting a new setup together at the moment. Most likely half 100mm pvc pipe with plough disc corners.

For those that have history behind them its the same venue the first ever winter champs was raced. The surface has changed though, we will be putting photos up of the venue when I finish the updates to the web site.

There's a video on You Tube that shows the venue etc.

Just a fun video a local guy put together!
