Hi guys,

I'm in for a meet n chat about the track, I've contacted Lee (starter of thread) so hopefully we can arrange a day too head too the track etc.

As for running on the track .... yea ive used it a few times, you will need a few brooms too clear it etc but other than that it is usable (in need of some work etc tho) not sure how ud go with Mod motors etc.

Ive mainly ran slower vehiclcs on it and my 1/18th still good fun!
Not sure on tyre wear for long term use etc

But hopefully with enough people involved a few decent ideas may come up an get track up and going.

Hey guys,

I haven't been able to get on lately as something came up.I won't be able to get down to Mitchell Park easily, but yeah I think a meeting is a step in the right direction.

Let me know how it all goes,
Ben.

I don't have any thing to run atm, but I do have my t4 sitting in a box waiting to be rebuilt

I probably won't be able to make it anyways, seeing as my Mum doesnt wanna drive 25mins from Highbury just so I can have chat and a quick run around.

But yet she'll drive all the way to Ikea to pick up a bag of swedish meatballs

If we need to get a meet together real quick, all we need to do is grab some portable ramps and cones and set them up on some grass land

A group of us have doing a similar thing trying to get land for a 1/5 off road track. I dont if any of you are aware but Playford council has actually offered 3500 sq mtrs at a new wetlands develpment at Andrews Farm and it could be a goer for electric and nitro tracks, you might want to talk to them. The information we got was the council was looking at setting it up as a public track (not really ideal for a club but its early days yet). At this stage that area is still a possibilty for us but we are also looking elswhere. Mt Barker is showing strong interest and I guess having the on road track there means they know what we are on about when we ask about tracks.
