Talking Re: battery pack redesign

I don't know Kymbo, what happens if someone hits you from the side or you take a heavy landing. It would suck to go out of the race because your battery pack got mashed or fell out. I can't see the real benefit. But hey, I'll be really interested to see how it goes

Mmmmmmm...... it would have to be a massive unlucky impact to break through that side fairing? but then again it is quite possible it will happen in the last minute of a final while in 1st possi . Man id be afraid of a meteorite falling from the sky and hitting mine while on pole in a final. I find it interesting though that in 1/8 you dont need a hard case RX batt, especially with mods like this. Be interesting to see if they make a rule change later.

Im pretty sure Kym is going to secure batt with velcro or some 3M double sided tape, that top brace is just to hold it down I think.

It's almost a carbon copy of Cody King's mod, except his was a Lipo instead of a Life. His and Tebo's both survived a huge week at that RC Car Killer track in Pattaya, so hopefully it'll be ok.

They both claim that the Mod "just makes the car better allround', not sure what that means really, so will check it out, if I see no benefit, will just go back to normal.

BTW mate, all jobs were completed here, with excellent results, thanks again, hopefully we sell with ease.

Cheers
