Pete if that is the case it will always leave me more time for extra R/C-

Back to the topic at hand.....will Darryn ever admit up to anything???

Just kidding big guy (that's why I throw in those little laughing icons-he he). I guess this is the place for a debate and im sure many will bring it to the table. For me I think there is a place for those wanting serious competition and yet the room to run classes for those pure nostalgic buffs who want to put the less competitive cars around the track.
Either way Im sure sometime there will be an opportunity to put it all up to a vote.

There is an advertisment in the September RC Driver magazine issue,
page 150, about the 2008 Vintage Off Road Nationals.

What does everyone think of their class structure?

I go to these meetings to compete for fun like anyone else. Next year I will also be competing with the modern cars as well here at home and Sydney at some of the bigger meetings............I might take that a bit more seriously - especially if Ghost Driver is in my class

Sure thing dude just let me know prior, I'll only be to happy to smash your ass & send you back home to werever it is you come from :

come on cleedis ,come on !!

Guys I have ZERO probs with vintage racing or it enthusiests , However RC in this country is still very much a minority sport/hobby & vintage is an extreme within (growing again) electric offroad , unless things change for AUST RC it will relisticly be a miniority within a minority ...

Just an observation from the outside looking in & GOOD LUCK & GOD SPEED !!

I only say this because you are so awesome Adam!! I would have to be serious to take on the Ghost Driver!

Think I will just keep my opinions to myself now - as having the balls to actually say what you think in this country makes you a target, especially on forums. I should have known better.

Cheers

Darryn

Woops! LOL
Dazzler there's nothing wrong with making statements and we are all targets when we get out of line or stand out from the pack. I would say that Adam has thrown down the gauntlet with his bold claim of 'smashing your ass' and is ready for any challenge you bring to him. There needn't be any reason to back away from saying what you feel so I reckon you take him up on his offer and see who comes out on top. (or from behind)

Thankyou wise master for your words of wisdom!

I wasn't referring to Adam, in fact I will look forward to getting good enough to compete with his level of talent with "real", (adams terminology), cars (not vintage ones)

Cheers

Darryn

Hello Shane,to be fair it could be worth a substantial dollar value and I would feel like a mug taking it from you. To be honest you really ought to snap a few pics and put it in the for sale thread or on ebay as James has previously said. You'll be suprised what these cars will net you (complete or not).I do thankyou for the offer but I wouldnt feel right knowing they are worth alot of money. Thankyou- Jason.

Im with you Mr Bugle, I like 4WD mod. Also turning up to a given meeting with one motor class could work much like the enduro in Melbourne does. I'm happy to run what ever is agreed upon.

For what it's worth, I gave this gear to Darryn because no one else seemed keen and I wanted it to go to a good home. I'm a collector too, only I collect f1's and pan cars and I didn't want this car to go to waste
