Post MRCCR Club (Lilydale Victoria) Thread

Hi Guys,

Part of my new duties on the committee is to help with the WWW site and contact via the Net.

We are creating this topic here as a means of disseminating club information and as a contact point between members and other interested parties.

If the interest justifies it we will look at creating our own forum on the website, but for the time being this seems like a good starting point.

Feel free to ask questions or add comments, usual forum guidlines apply.

thanks

Dave Calwell

DC are the 2004 IC on road Vic titles in January? Any idea yet of dates?

Also whats the news with the track, when we were down there for the nats there was some talk of moving to a new location because of the noise issues.

Cheers Alastair

Yes the Vic titles will be on and we are committed to getting things organised early this time so we can get maximum entries.
Dates are likely to be the traditional Australia Day weekend in late January.

I will confirm this after I speak to the President/Secretary.

As far as relocation it is still a possibility, we are in the process of applying for some land but our first choice is to stay put.

Current feeling is that if we move it will not happen for a long time so i'd say that its 99% certain that the 04 Vics will be at Lilydale.

Default VORTEC Rep's

Who is representing Lilydale at the VORTEC meeting on Sunday?
I know OZDC will be looking to blitz the single speed (Nitro Touring) class.

I hope the weather forecast takes a turn for the better.

Gav,

Stock - Chris Young

Pro Stock - Ryan Mortan

Tourer - Myself
- Trevor Roper
- Cookie
- Micheal Davis

Pro Tourer - Lob Rewis
- Stevy J
- Ray Davis

A typical Lilydale entry, quality not quantity

Hope the bloody rain holds off, pity if the series ends up being one round.

Franky,

We run a stock/sport class which depending on numbers will also include novices.

Come along to our next race day Sept 14.

Arrive around 8:30, Practice from 9 am ,entries close 9:30am. (strict on this)

We run 3, 5min heats and a final. Final length depends on numbers but Stock is usually 15min.

Hope to see you there.

Bringing your own pit man is better but i'm sure we could find someone to help you out.

Default NO Racing October 12 2003 (Bathurst)

For those who were'nt at the track last race day, compeitors were asked if they were likely to attend the race day held on the Bathurst Sunday. Almost no-one put up there hands so it was decided that the race day for October 12 will be cancelled.

Due to restrictions on when we can run there will be no re-scheduled race day.
