quozl: You're right. I was just talking about Electric. I probably should of made that clear.
The way the electric rules are at the moment they make no mention of an approved list for bodies, they simply list the specifications the body must conform to. Therefore any body which meets the stated criteria MUST be legal. Simple as that.
I don't see what producing a list of legal bodies will accomplish at the moment other than exclude people. You shouldn't have to buy a new body to compete in an event if you already have one that meets the technical specifications.
Some people may argue that sanctioning of bodies is necessary to ensure scale realism, and to make sure no one is getting an unfair advantage BUT that's EXACTLY what the technical regulations are designed to do. If they don't do that then we need better technical regulations not a list of allowed bodies.
fastolfart: I agree that bodies with ROAR or BRCA approval will almost certainly meet the regulations. My point is that they won't necessarily be the only ones that will.

Can you post the body list for the up coming NATs, also any Radio Freq. restriction??
TL
Body list for tourers? If so it is available in the rules section of the clubs website at www.qrccra.org.au or from the aarcmcc web site at www.aarcmcc.org
I've asked for the legal frequency list to be emailed to me and will post it as soon as I receive it. As a general rule surface RC use the 27,29 and 40mhz frequncy range but there are restrictions within those bands. Will post the full list when I have it.

Thanks for the help but nope still no luck. All other sites load perfectly.
When you go to the page are you sure your not just loading the version in your cache? Go to the page and hit "ctrl F5" to refresh the page. Does it still load for you if you do that? If it does I'm stumped as to why it wont load on my browser anymore. Btw I'm on BigPond ADSL.
the AARCMCC site and the revamped NSWRCRCC site is temporarily down. its not that they didn't pay them bills... its because i got caught with too much work, and forgot that the guys did a major server change (mo powerful). Im sorting out the Domain Name Delegation at this stage. Shouldn't take long, about a couple of more days. Please be patient, and sorry for the whole mixup. Kinda hard too when David McInerney is over at Cincinatti for the World Titles... hope he wins...
As promised, the AARCMCC website is now back online. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also, the NSWRCRCC revamped site is also up and running again. Cheers for your patience!

Hi DC, at this stage, the NSWRCRCC is goind thru a re-development phase. So at the moment, the only thing you will see is the front page until David McInerney gets back from the Worlds, then we can get the ball rolling again...
To align the Aust Electric classes with the rest of the world, and to stop any weight arguments, AARCMCC has changed the weight rule. All cars will now be weighed with transponders in place, the weight will be raised to incorporate this
eg: 4wd electric touring car
weight was 1500gms race ready without tranponders.
now 1525gms race ready with transponders
this includes personal and club loan units.
This is to compensate for the 15gms (approx) difference between the two.
