I have to say that the new web site looks very nice well done to the people behined the scenes

Just 1 more thing how old are those Member Profiles in the Gallery section They look a bit out of date just a comment

Does any one know how many laps people did last year to get into the top 4 for the Pro tourers at last years QLDs? I think 32 was TQ??
I think this year will be faster with the mighty Mugens running..

Times for the top four Nitro Tourers in 2002 were

Ric Bartolozzi 32 Laps in 10:15.964

Chris Reade 32 Laps in 10:16.082

Wayne Walker 31 Laps in 10:09.747

Simon Camilleri 31 in 10:15.962

The final results for Nitro Tourer in 2002 after 30 minutes were

hey guys, i just bought a vone rr to start racing (my first rc) i live on the gold coast , and was wondering what engine i should get for this car so i can race around the coast and brisbane... ive been told no more than a 3 port engine?? is that right?

any suggestions of engines for me guys?

so what class would i be racing in with a vonerr?

is that pro tourer? im new to all this and dont want to get the wrong engines for the wrong classes etc.....

yeah that is an engine for the pro tourer class. Come and join us on the next race day. I also run a RR we need some more of them at the track. Prodomatily Mugen MTX3 up here.

at this stage i just have the rr chassis, what are some engines you suggest to go with this car to run in that class?

im also thinking of getting the crystel free jrracing xs3..... anyone else use this/recommmend it?

chromedlux other engines you can try are JP, RB, Sirio and OS. It all depends how much money you are willing to spend. As for the cyrstaless radio gear not sure on that one I personally haven't used the radio. What you should do is come up to Brendale and have a look at the racing one day. Next weekend we are holding the State Titles for Pro Touring, 235mm and 1/8 scale. Plenty of good drivers so you can get a feel for the sport/hobby.

i might go up to logan this sat night i hear they are racing up there aswell....

Visit our clubs website at http://www.qrccra.org.au and check out
http://www.qrccra.org.au/thecars.html for information on what classes we race, this will give you info on engine capacity etc for the various classes.

You can also check out the rules for each class in the rules section as well as download an membership application from the downloads section. As others have mentioned the Queensland titles are on from the 8th to 11th of August so it's well worth a visit to see the various classes racing.
