So now for bodies I'm looking at the following:

Protoform Speed 12
Protoform Speed 12b
Parma Speed 8 HD
Parma Zytec 04S HD

Which is best? Or should I just get something that will hopefully last a while? Planning on coming down for a look tonight, so maybe I'll get to chat to someone about it.

On a 12L4, what are the differences between mounting the servo on the mounts and mounting it flat on the chassis?

generally flat for high traction, angled for low traction.

So does HH fall into the high traction category?

What gauge wiring is used in Justin's car? 16 gauge? It looked fairly thin to me.

HH is high traction and 16g wire is the go. tyre wear measured at .7 mm rear 1.2mm front for the last race meet, witch included 1practice and 6 races.

Plenty of time before the State Titles as they're not until July. There will even be an electric only practice day in the lead up.

What sort of a turn up did you get Friday night? Were numbers down because of the Clipsal?

Yeah, numbers were down but we still managed to get 5-6 people turn up. If it wasnt for clipsal I think we could have gotten 10 people there.

It was a good night and was just getting to grips with the car by the end of the night, I was up for another round of finals but they wanted to close the joint.

You got to expect lower numbers when the big cars in town. I think it's fair to say that most with an interest in lttle race cars also have an interest in big race cars.

When I buy my 12th scale I'll be there and there will probably be at least one mini racer as well. Had a drive of one at the last Littlehampton meeting. It's going to be fun. It will be good to have a new challenge.

Lucky I don't have that problem. Might have to get Wendy's ready then so she can have a play but I don't know if we'll be sticking around for long after - it's some sort of anniversary for us (6 years).

If you have the 12th scale ready, I'll take it off your hands for the price we agreed.
