inappropriate avatars
it has been brought to my attention, through a number pf PM's, that some avatars used by Australian users are inappropriate for a a forum such as R/C Tech... consider your obligations when you signed up...
"By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."
i would suggest that "messages" includes images and avatar images... if you are unsure of what's kosher consider what you see on free to air tv (SBS excepted!LOL!!) as a guide to what is considered 'acceptable' in Australian society

i think the point is if you want to check out porn you shouldn't find it too hard to find some on the internet but r/c tech should be for r/c tech
what you check out in your time on your computer is your business no need to include it in your contributions to r/c tech - porn (using the term loosely) isnt everyones cup of tea

i think it's 'spose to be one of those Davinci code type religious conspiracy theories of some sort. who knows...i just typed in Mary Magdalene into google pics and that's the first "nudie" religious image i got

notice how she looks like she is thinking dirty thoughts? the tilt of the head, the sideways glance, the slightly open mouth which insinuates an increased heartrate and breathing rate...all these are "sexual" signs. the head position is submissive, yet showing signs of curiosity, yet the body posture is confident and implying, "i'm ready"
that's what makes it so "naughty"
Plus she is, at what seems to me to be a truck stop in the USA. this conjures up images and memories of the coke ads with the sexy girl "pumping" gas for you, and those "desperate farmgirl" images hollywood has provided for uswereas my Religious Mary Magdalene picture looks "saintly" and strangely "uninviting"
