Default MTX4-R clutch problem?

Gday people..........Looking for some help regarding a problem i got with my clutch on the MTX4-r

My 'clutch spring adjustememt nut' is tightening itself over a short time (maybe 10 laps?) therefore my clutch spring is tightening up to a point were the clutch will 'just' engage, or not at all..........???? ive checked over the whole cluth and nothing is abnormal?

Running a ninja12 + JP pipe

Anyone had this problem before?

it's normal, you need to put threadlock on the collar

never seen this ever, in a mugen. Only ever experienced it with my werks racing offroad buggy clutch. it is due to the collet thread and the nut that holds the spring down having a loose fit. either use the pink (i believe 333) loctite thread lock or any other non adhesive type thread lock.

sounds strange though. if you have the cash, replace the pilot nut and the screw part.

Has to be some problem to do with your bearings and shiming. Clutch bell must
be touching spring nut or something like that. Never used locktight ,or had this
problem ever in 3 mugens.

Do you have any scratched or marks on the side of the adjusting nut?

Hey all.. first post here !

I have the same problem with my Mugen MTX4r.. My dad and i cant seem to figure out whats wrong with it.. The second gear almost instantly comes in, or it doesnt at all..

I feel as if its got something to do with the shims.. we are constantly adding shims so that the play is minimal.. but it keeps loosening up..

It runs ok for the first few laps, then it goes back to behaving like it shouldnt, the second gear either comes in too fast, or not at all..

Any help or solutions are most welcomed.. Thanks in advance !!

every time i rebuild my clutch in both my mugens and set the correct depth of tension the adjusting nut is always stiff and have never use locktight and it never moves, i suggest replace the parts or something is installed wrong.

Just use half a drop of super glue on the thread.
