Team VTX-B1 buggy and VTX-ST1 truggy Australia
Hi there guys
I have done a lot of research looking for a cheap yet reliable 1/8 buggy and truggy
I found one fairly new to the market but with most issues sorted!
I am only authorized to distribute it in Australia
The base model is an RTR with a 26 Drill start engine and 27meg radio.
It comes out of the box with Oil filled diffs (5000, 7000, 1000) instead of the normal RTR grease!
The 3mm aluminum chassis is fully counter sunk and anodized with kick-ups on the sides and beefy aluminum chassis braces front and rear stiffening the chassis
Steering is made easy with a dual bell crank, adjustable servo-saver with a two hole ackermann bar, strong servo horn and a laying down steering servo system
Polished aluminum oil filled shocks
3 shoe alloy clutch
and lots more
The RTR comes with
a drill start
1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3mm hex drivers
5 way wrench for the 17mm wheel nuts, glow plug, and clutch nut
And some other stuff I will confirm later
The only things needed to run this RTR is
A 7.2 volt stick pack and charger for the drill start(included) but if you have a battery drill you don't need it
Batteries for the radio and a battery pack for the buggy
Fuel
This is a RTR buggy with a full range of upgrade Billet, and carbon parts available
A race roller will be released next month with some of the upgrade parts fitted
And here is the truggy
The RTR includes the following
One TeamVTX Truggy,
Assembled Rolling Chassis,
.26 Size Engine w/Radio System w/One High Torque Servo,
Pre-Painted Body,
Pre-Mounted Tires on White Dish Wheels,
Big Bore Shocks,
Instruction Manual and Decals,
Hex Wrench Tool Set,
Cross Wrench Tool,
Drill starter
Chassis: 3mm Aluminum Chassis w/front and rear braces Suspension: Front Pivot Ball Suspension
Engine: .26 TeamVTX Drill start engine
Exhaust: Polished Aluminum Tuned Pipe & header
Radio: TeamVTX 2-Channel AM Transmitter and Reciever with High Torque & High speed Servos
Transmission: Single-Speed Transmission
Wheels:White Dish Type wheels Hex Adapters
Body: Pre-Painted Body w/Flame Designs and racing wing
Shocks: Big Bore Shocks
Adjustable Turnbuckles
Clutch: 3-Shoe Nylon Clutch Shoes
Fuel Tank: 5.1oz (150cc) Flip Top Tank
4 Wheel Drive
Full Bearings
REQUIRES:
12 AA batteries,
6 cell 7.2v battery & charger,
Glow igniter,
Fuel Bottle,
Glow Fuel.
The clutch bell is different to what we are used to but works good
also it is smaller than normal
the gearing is as follow
Clutch Bell 11 teeth
Spur 49 teeth
pinion 11 teeth
Ring 38 teeth
apparently this allow for smaller diffs that in the end helps with a lower center of gravity
It also comes with a full range of optional parts
Please feel free to ask questions or Pm me for more details

Hi guys
Had my first race with the truggy today and it went really well
heat 1 sixth (Stalled on the warm up)
heat 2 first
heat 3 second
heat 4 dnf
heat 5 second
heat 6 sixth dnf
Ending Fourth overall for the day
I must say that the truggy handles really well but I will have to replace the servo's, they are good for a bash at the local park but just ain't strong enough for the sharp turns and bends of a track and all the brakes needed
Had the first race with the VTX_B1 Buggy today as well exept I wasn't the driver as planned
Well to make a long story short I gave the buggy to Jono ( Jonathan Lane) to race after he wrecked his Hong Nor's front suspension in the first heat's warm-up and did not have spares to fix it.
By doing so giving me time to concentrate on the VTX Truggy
We had a couple of problems
we changed to Jono's RB engine and fitted his FM receiver and back to my spectrum after we just could nor get his radio sorted it
Jono missed a couple of heats but when he went out the fourth heat the buggy was behaving well ending fifth with a 12 lapper
fifth heat he ended six with another 12 laps
the six and last heat Jono really started to get used to the buggy and radio finishing fifth but putting up the second fasted lap for the day

Well done Jonathan I think it went very well considering it was a RTR out of the box with no setup or oil changes and that you have never driven it before let alone that it was a foreign radio as wel
