The SS is Motor magazine's currenty BFYB champion, sort of puts your theory out the window.
WRX is under powered these days, back in '94 they had 155kw vs holden V8 with 165kw.
The MY08 WRX handles ok, alittle soft thou better then the SS, XR8.
The VE will give all comers a hiding in a straight line, massive kw for a stocker
