What a race
That has gotta be the best race i have seen in a long time. The last 30+ laps was totally insane and the last 13 laps was edge of your seat racing.

bloody hell how many people wanna post being unaustralian, about there not realy fords or holdens. you guys must be f1 fans!
anyways was there holdens out there racing today?
really super effort to the podium sitters. the most exciting bathurst ive watched for years and even better ford 1 2 3. lowndsie deserved it after the little jockie kelly had to take him out to win the championship last year.
as johnson hit the lead for a little bit a was hoping he would win as he and his old man have been campaigning without many super results for a while and they did put togetherr a awsome package this weekend
up the mighty FORDS
and wots with all the holden pole smokers comin in ere and dissin fords. why dont you blokes piss off and start ya own thread where you all can cry on each others sholders and sing yourselfs lullabies

Ahhh yes... The very articulate and intelligent conversation that always follows the end of Bathurst. When was the last time you could buy a bathurst winning car at your local dealer? (mid '80s?) 
I'm a holden man and today was a piss poor effort. HRT and HSVDT have the same brake components, yet one team had no brake problems, while the other had a ton of brake problems. Wish Murphy and Richards would split up. Not a murphy fan but I like richards.
Last 15 or so laps were the best racing i've seen all season. Especially when it looked like Ritter on wets was lapping a second quicker. All the slipping and sliding was awesome.
Oh, and remind me to never be in the chase near lowndes. Both Rick and Winterbottom both almost took him out.

i think u could find the door handles, the dash cover? and there were a couple of others, it shows though,i thought it was a series to give todays major motor companyies in aus(holden and ford) a booster 4 there sales aswell as gunning for championships,sure they couldnt be as fast but they arent at all bf/ba falcons or ve/vz commodores,
they are modded bf/ba's and modded ve/vz's,y dont they advertise it as that and not as your modern v8 that u can buy outta the shop.
just my opinion but it sure was interesting finding out that they only have 4 or 5 parts on the supercars that you get with the car you buy otta the factory

I'm a fan of the "Kangaroo" chicane! Lucky little bugger on Saturday!
St Ives members had a great day racing and watching the big race on the big screen portable!
Yes those last few laps were the big teller for the day, it made and shattered a few dreams.

Why does the new Falcon coming out look 90% like the new Holden???? Only cost them 50% of what Holden invested in the project too?
