Futaba 3PK
In the near future I am looking to upgarde my ever reliable Futaba 2PL Radio to a Futaba 3PK. I beleive that there are several different variants, however I am looking at either a 3PK with a 2.4 GHz module or a 3PK with 2.4GHz built in (does not use modules). The second system is relatively new to the market.
Can anyone advise as to whether they have had any issues such as glitching etc with this type of radio. Any feedback (no pun intended) would be appreciated.
BTW, I race EP onroad and 1/8 offroad (nitro).
Cheers,

I've had a 3pk for over 18 months. I used it with crystals, no glitching. I currently use it with the Spektrum, never glitched once. I think with the current radios you would be hard pressed to fault any of the major brands or systems these days.
It's a good radio, I'd go for whichever is more readily available to you at the time, or otherwise look at price.
Be aware that if you go Spektrum, you have two options. One is the HRS system which requires digital servos.

Thanks guys, will select PPM for the analogue servo then!!! I ran the HRS with it today and no more heat than usual, but I defo won't run the risk for the .02ms or so latency!
Having said that the FASST system worked great today, no probs at all!
