From what I hear Illawarra's new layout is awsome, big air! If starting back it might be a bit too much of a cost replacing bits? Na man just try the tracks yourself, atmosphere's are different at all the tracks too. For a newbie I would say 1st St Ives and 2nd Castle Hill.
I personally have had a good run at Ryde, but I know a few who haven't (do you think Ron is in love?) but not the environment for a newbie in that there is no leniency between heats if you're a bit slow etc. Once you're more familiar with what has to be done then you shouldn't have a problem. There are some good people there though to help you out.
Mate the way the weather is going you won't have a chance to run for the next year or so anyway!

cant he ask whatever he wants dude?
you posted a thread telling everyone your gear was stolen? Is that any worse than asking a legitimate question which is what this forum is all about?

I asked a question with no mallice intended and infact if you read the thread no one is bagging other clubs (except Ron, but he is in every thread anyway stirring the pot),
read my original question, part of what i said :
I guess i am wanting to join a club with regular club meets and just a good bunch of people who don't mind helpin out a newbie either (It's been years since i raced competitvely) Any thoughts ???
these comments don't site an argumentative thread, it's a question where i can find some cool people to have some fun with.
Yeah i know 1 person at Illawarra but that doesn't mean i will be able to race there every time (As I'm in Sydney) and nor would he always have the time to help out...
Everyone else here has been pretty cool, get over it !!!
