Do i sense a tone of bitterness..... I am sure you will have a great laugh when i start racing mod (I will be laughing at me too) but hey a bit of practice and a few races under my belt and i should be able to finish a lap or 2 even maybe a race

Where do you race painy, maybe you could give me some pointers...
seriously i'm going to need it !!!

P.S I started this thread for a genuine response, i can't help it when Ron throws his 2 cents in here, hey can say what he wants I am sure there is a genuine point somewhere amongst his creative responses

I personally have had a good run at Ryde, but I know a few who haven't (do you think Ron is in love?) but not the environment for a newbie in that there is no leniency between heats if you're a bit slow etc. Once you're more familiar with what has to be done then you shouldn't have a problem. There are some good people there though to help you out.
Mate the way the weather is going you won't have a chance to run for the next year or so anyway!
X-5 Addict thanks mate, appreciate the comments - i pretty much have everything i need to get going, just waiting on a couple minor bits & pieces and i'm ready !! i think i will come down to illawarra to check out the challenge cup, should be good to watch and maybe get a couple tips off the racers

cant he ask whatever he wants dude?

you posted a thread telling everyone your gear was stolen? Is that any worse than asking a legitimate question which is what this forum is all about?

Forum: –noun, plural fo·rums, fo·ra

1. the marketplace or public square of an ancient Roman city, the center of judicial and business affairs and a place of assembly for the people.

2. an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.

eg. RC Tech Forum, the forum in the ancient city of Sydney.

Having all your stuff stolen would really suck and can understand that u would be really pissed about that but just go away mate. I don't need to take shit from you when this thread isn't causing anyone problems until u came along

I asked a question with no mallice intended and infact if you read the thread no one is bagging other clubs (except Ron, but he is in every thread anyway stirring the pot),

read my original question, part of what i said :

I guess i am wanting to join a club with regular club meets and just a good bunch of people who don't mind helpin out a newbie either (It's been years since i raced competitvely) Any thoughts ???

these comments don't site an argumentative thread, it's a question where i can find some cool people to have some fun with.

Yeah i know 1 person at Illawarra but that doesn't mean i will be able to race there every time (As I'm in Sydney) and nor would he always have the time to help out...

Everyone else here has been pretty cool, get over it !!!
