The other thread you're thinking of is probably buried back a few pages.

The event will be November 15-18 with the 19th a rain day. Classes to be 4WD ISTC 27 turn stock, 19 turn and modified. Maybe 1/12th as well. Unsure on the likelihood of mini, but probably won't be run.

The entry form is not too far away with details on costs, control tyres, etc.

The remaining club race days leading up are August 12 and 26, September 9 and 23 and October 21 and November 11.

Thought I'd bump this back up to the top. The entry form is not too far away. It should be up on www.rrcsa.org.au by the end of the week (or so we were told yesterday).

Unfortunately the entry form is still not out yet. I must have thrown Bob a curve ball as I picked up that the qualifying system has only recently changed... Shouldn't be too far along.

I can reveal some information. The classes to be run will be ISTC stock, 19 turn and modified. 12th scale did not appear on the draft entry form I was sent, neither did mini (although some wanted it).

Something like that. Four qualifiers Saturday, two Sunday plus finals.

The rules state that the tyre combination must be announced three months prior to the event. That was back on August 15.

So what tyre is being used !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously it is a locally sourced tyre from SA but other states dont usually use that tyre. It would be nice to consider the interstate drivers so taht they could at least start practising at home with that tyre combination

Just saw the entry form and no 12th scale.

Swanny as the electric delegate for LH maybe you can shed some light as why there is no 12th scale.

I really hope there are a lot of entries in the 3 class running, otherwise it could be a very short meet, I hope not anyway.

Oh look, cannon is complaining about tyres again. Another event, another complaint

Burlap ... do us a favour and crawl back into your Victorian hole. From a driver in a state that is not even under the rules used at the Nats.

Read what I asked fool. All I asked was what tyre is being used. The rules state that the tyre must be announced three months in advance. One of the reasons for this is so that drivers not local to the event can start practising with the tyre.

Did I complain about what tyre is being used .... NO ... fool

Also if you bother to read the thread there are already questions being asked on other aspects of the event.

The entry form should have been out a week ago but there was some last minute confusion over tyre allocations which is why it has only just been released.

Tyres for the event are a TakeOff 32 premount.

1/12th wasn't really discussed, but I have seen an e-mail to Bob asking for it to be included. There wasn't much support for them last year and given that traction addidtive is not normally allowed, they would probably be a handful to drive at Littlehampton. If there enough interest then maybe it can be included as a class.

And before any flames me, the entry form was not my responsibility. I'll answer whai I can, but general enquiries should got to [email protected].

I was at the nats last year and NO traction additive was allowed at the Brendale track, so 12th scale was a JOKE.

Are you saying we are not allowed to use traction additive at LH, thai should be cleared up, if it is allowed 12th scale would be cool.
