The same sort of thing will be happening at the 1/8 & 1/10 on road IC Nationals at Lilydale in October . Everybody who has entered by the cut off date (30th Sept) will be entered into the draw to have their entry fee refunded ie $75 for 1/8 and Pro Tourer and $55 for Pull start .

After the Huge Success of Last Years Event It's on again the Power Grunt Challenge Presented by the Bendigo Radio Controlled Car Club and Sposored by Power Grunt Hobbies Bendigo,Will be Held Sunday August 26th 2007 Bendigo Track on the Corner of McIvor Road and Reservoir Road Bendigo.
The Classes Ran will be -
540 Novice/Beginners

Electric Stock
Nitro Pullstart
Nitro Pro Touring
Each Class will Contest 3 x 5 Rounds with a 5 Minute Final for the Electric Classes , The Nitro Classes will Contest 3 x 5 Rounds with a 15 Minute Final ...
Trophies & Prizes will be Presented to Place Getters in Each "A" Main Final...
"B" Finals will be ran over 5 Minutes where numbers prevail with Club Ribbons Presented to Place Getters of the "B" Final....
Trophies & Prizes will also be Presented to TQ's of each Class ....
Full BBQ Facilities/Refreshments will be available all day ....
Full Toilet Facilities available in our Clubrooms...

This event will be a "Control Tyre Event" - tyres may only be purchased through the club ONLY - tyres will be made available the evening prior to racing to allow for tyre / rim mounting and balancing only - all tyres and inserts will be marked for each days racing.

Event Schedule:
· Racing start at 8:30am
· Drivers’ meeting at 8:10am
· Drivers are advise to arrive before 7:00am

· Saturday - 4wd Stock, 4wd 19-turn Seniors, 4wd Modified & Stock Trucks

STATE TITLE Awards:

As you may or may not know it is our club's 30th anniversary this year. In 2007 we mark our club's Diamond year of celebrations. Due to this, we will be holding a huge race day/Birthday celebration across 3 days, November 30th (open track) and December 1st (qualifying and banquet) and 2nd (Finals). All classes will be raced, and an itinerary for the 3 day event will be organised closer to the day.

All on road classes will be raced; these being 10th scale tourer, 8th scale as well as 5th scale. If you have a 235mm we will accommodate you in the 8th scale section. The focus of this event is on fun and celebration of a landmark 30 years of the running of our club. Whether you are a member of our club currently or not does not matter, as we would like to see as many RC nitro and I.C enthusiasts as possible for this event.

If you have an old 8th scale car, or 5th scale car that is hidden away, bring them out for display at our track during the 3 day event.

Get ready for a HUGE birthday event in December and spread the word! Our club would like to make this the biggest attended event in our club's history. This special birthday/raceday will be open to ALL MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS OF NSWRCRCC, so don't be shy, come along, and invite your friends, family and others. Even if you do not race anymore come along for the occasion. Let's mark the occasion in style!
