Each Class will Contest 3 x 5 Rounds with a 5 Minute Final for the Electric Classes , The Nitro Classes will Contest 3 x 5 Rounds with a 15 Minute Final ...
Trophies & Prizes will be Presented to Place Getters in Each "A" Main Final...
"B" Finals will be ran over 5 Minutes where numbers prevail with Club Ribbons Presented to Place Getters of the "B" Final....
Trophies & Prizes will also be Presented to TQ's of each Class ....
Full BBQ Facilities/Refreshments will be available all day ....

MECA will be a 3 round series, all rounds will be held at Whalan Park SORMCC
Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the 3 rounds.
Prizes:
· Nitro open: A split system air-conditioning system sponsored by GREE Air Conditioning.
· Pull Start: A split system air-conditioning system sponsored by GREE Air Conditioning.
· 540: A complete brushless system including a 13.5 motor and speed controller
as well as a Li Po battery sponsored by East Coast & Speed Passion.
· Stock: A paid trip to the TITC held in Bangkok. This will include hotel and flight sponsored by
East Coast & Speed Passion.
· Modified: A paid trip to the TITC held in Bangkok. This will include hotel and flight sponsored by
East Coast & Speed Passion.
Award:
· Trophies will be awarded at each round of the series. From 1st – 8th for the A finalist.
· 1st -3rd for the B-Finalist. TQ will also be awarded a separate trophy.
General rules for Electric:
1. Any 2 or 4 door body is eligible for use in all classes.
2. Lipo batteries can be used in stock or modified with a capacity up to and including 5000mAh.
3. 540 Sport Class max 3800mah.
4. Any NiMH battery can be used up to and including 4600.
5. The weight limit for all classes will be 1400 grams including transponder.
6. Tyres are open for all classes.
7. All cars must have independent suspension and must not use direct drive transmission.
8. Only one rear wing is allowed. No front wings permitted.
Modified:
· The use of any sensored brushless motors is allowed.
· The modified racing will be 6 minute heats.
· Max of 8 drivers per heats and finals.
· 3 A main finals and one final each for lower finals
Stock:
· Stock motors will be 23 turn motors.
· Any ROAR 24 degree, JRM stock ANY TYPE ALLOWED.
· The use of 13.5 or 11.5 brushless sensored motors are also allowed.
· The heats and finals for this class will be 8 minutes with a maximum of 8 cars in the heats and finals.
· The A main will have 3 finals and one final each for lower finals.
540:
· The motors for this class will be hand out motors.
· They will not be the standard Tamiya 540.
· The motors to be used are readily available from Walter R/C Hobby and any hobby shop can order them for people wanting to practice. The hand out motor on the day will cost $10.
· Only one motor is allowed for use during the heats with an option of another motor being purchased for the A main finalists.
· The heats will be 8 minutes with a maximum of 8 cars in the heats and finals.
· The A main will have 3 finals and one final each for lower finals.
General rules for Nitro:
Nitro open class:
· As per AARCMCC rules.
· With the exception of bodies where a lola style body can be used.
Pull Start:
· Engine must be started by pull start ie: no rotor start or starter box can be used.
· The car used must be an R.T.R car not an open nitro kit.
· Any commercial pull start engine may be used.
