Good choice. Make sure the motor has the coloured red ring on the can.

Back a few years ago, BL was snubbed, but more and more people kept at it and now BL for Mod is the norm, with only a few sticking with BR.

IMO 19tBL will be the saviour for many tracks, open Mod 6 cell is too fast, and causes too much wear for the majority of punters, 19t BL offers faster cars, without going overboard.

My hat is off to Novak and Losi for including budget spec BL systems in RTR cars, these along with the new gen of LRP budget BL products will bring BL to the masses at a price equivalent to current mid level BR stuff.

I may have to get a brushless stock setup seeing as I'm just too damn lazy to do motor maintenance ........hey , that'd mean I'd have to cut my body to accomodate the speedy and fan.........I'll just copy the "patented" Iceman cooling ductwork

Cheers

Got to agree with bigmumma the new LRP Sphere Competition 2007 is an awesome ESC. I have had no problems since using one of these and the Lifetime warranty and service is second to none.

Default sphere 07

Where are you blokes getting these "mythical" sphere 07 comps from? According to tower they will be available late Feb, Mar, Apr, May. The LRP sweatshop will have to change all the stickers to 08, they are harder to get than Russian toilet paper!!

If you can't get the LRP 07 just go for the Nosram 07 as it is the same beast and the Nosram ones last time I checked were available.
