Cantona

Swap the days over and I'm there....... That way I can concentrate on a car each day instead of 2 cars together.....not unlike people that run 2WD and 4WD

Cheers

either or, but i think it would work..... talk to the keilor guys about it.

doing a vintage trial is something ive wanted to do with my DD article for some years now, but im only interested in somehow running authentic cars/cells/motors/tyres from that era. Its not easy to track down SCE's that still accept charge! maybe some 1400scrs would be a better way...

Cantona

Oh it would work , no question. But getting the nay-sayers and doubters to endorse it is another matter.........

And I think that the ESC should be free.....and maybe run the Venom 1800 batteries that are $13.50 a pop.....with 540 motors.....keeps the cost down and levels the playing field a tad....

Cheers

I've got two Marui Hunters, In race worthy condition, All they need are some electrics strapped in, And I will also need to source the correct pitch pinions for them.

I'd be up for racing them once a month!

**Edit**

Does anyone know what Pitch pinion they run ?

If you bring it along to Knox you can run it TWICE a month

Shane,

I have 32dp pinions new from Schumacher in 8 to about 16.... but I have a big pile of good condition used ones as well... lots of Tamiya sizes... so I'll have a 19 tooth 32 for you ;-)

Sounds like a great idea - the emphasis is on seeing these relics circulating and not so much on who can go the fastest - maybe even change to a stock motor,if only to save having to file out the motor mount to fit the 540..

I'd be happy to make a comeback to race Vintage class!...still have a few packs of losi X pattern rears...

I need a gear cover for a Pro SE / JRX-2 if anyone has one - and a set of shocks and I'm ready to go!

Already done the filing-out....and I just had a look for my old (pre-slipper) JRX-2 gear cover and I can't find it......sorry

And that is the basic philosophy of the class.....to let the old timers loose to show their wares , without there being sheep stations on the line

Cheers

If Tamiya re-release the Fox I'm going to get one to run in vintage......and retire the JRX-2 Proformance after 18-odd years of stellar service

Cheers
