cool, well if the packs can take the number of charges over the day then its cool, everything else sounds good, i'm not a fan of build on the day really, but i dont think its in ur rules anyway master, with the limit, i doubt we'll get more than 10 teams anyway, and if we do, just limit it to the first 10 paid up entries, so we know people are serious

cool, im driving the safety car, it'll come out at random times during the race, could help people strategically, i'll get some flashing yellow lights to fit on top, hmm, maybe the truck would be the goods to make the safety car, omg im excited about this

The controlled packs would make it alot closer and more fun in my opinion. Why dont you decide qualifying on a 1 lap sprint. Motorcross start and first over the line tq's. Theres no point having large amounts of qualifying time especially when the race is hours long qualifying wont matter that much.

cheers
Scotty

ha that would be the best, most dirtiest hackfest of a lap ever! it'd be awesome if it was at a track where the first lap was an oval !

Id love to see that! 10 tamiya sand whatevers just destroying eachother on a one lap dash! hahahaha

considering that no one will have driven the cars, i am thinking a 1 lap sprint will be best for Qualafieng, each team get a warm up lap then a flying lap.

MOTO start would be funny, but we dont want the cars breaking befor the race starts.

looking at this, it seems a side by side pack may fit, and the thing already comes fully ball raced

Ha this is a great idea. Do we have to paint it up on the day too!!??

I like the idea of Hornet or Grasshopper even though it looks to be decided. They are more 'authentic' cars and would be fun to own after the event. Just watching them bounce around would be hilarious!

Wow 1 set of tires in 5 hours, that's asking a lot! Same for everyone though so I'm keen.

none of this build on the day stuff, build and paint beforehand. make the paint scheme distinctive to match the team name/persona

So all done, that's fine. Happy with the Gator!

So shall we discuss this at the meeting on Sunday at St Ives? When are we thinking of getting this going?
