The surface looks excellent.......time will tell if it will hold together , as nothing in this R/C world is for certain.....but the guys with the excavators etc. are to be commended on a great job......and I know that I am very appreciative of their efforts.
Cheers
Shane

I agree , just to get the rubble off the surface. I'd also (for the future) consider a berm/kerb at the farthest hairpin at the northern end of the track , where the track is raised above the surface by about 25cm........just to help keep the cars on the track.
Otherwise......lets go racing on the 25th!!!
Cheers

I'd thought about that........and there may be an astro-turf solution.......but the cost may stop that. Maybe someone else may have some sort of idea what to do??
Cheers

I'm no expert these days with tyres......but I'm guessing that a medium spike tyre would do the trick.......and the surface is reasonably hard packed at the moment , but not as hard as Knox......

Ask around your local hockey/tennis centre's. They usually resurface and might give you some old astro turf.
Thanks Mark........maybe we'll do some searching and see what we can come up with
Cheers

i had a good run on Monday with the losi... X2000 were hooking up very nicely in the afternoon. Hardly any wear on the tyres after running on them for over 1hr.
Only slippery on the 2nd last corner before the straight.

Good work on the track guys, I went past there today and dropped in for a look, I was surprised with how much work has gone into it. I won't be using any nitro cars on there, I can appreciate whats been done and I think the new flatter surface with less jumps will probably be a bit boring for nitro cars and will see them all heading to sunshine. Good luck on the 25th.
