Tommy its within IFMAR specs, even www.pro-lineracing.com says so.

The Stratus 2.0 and 2.1 conform to all ROAR and IFMAR specs.

Not sure how you guys are cutting the body

That's what I'm try to say, they are wider but aproved which mean you have to cut extra on the wheel arch.

Thomas
Stratus 2.0 states is 190mm but I think they measure up to 198mm

I just measured my current 2.1 and the front is fine but the rear wheel arches are 206. To get it to 205 you would need to cut some fairly large wheel arches to trim some of the flair in them.

Ok, i've just measured my body from 2002 QLD's titles. It was a protoform volvo s60.

The front wheel arches are 206mm with the rear arches being 207mm.

This body passed scrutinering as all it had to do was pass through a 205mm box.

I am assuming that is the standard for measuring width of bodies.

Some bodies can vary from1 to 5 mm.

Guys we just published a list with approved bodies, and you are still looking for reasons not to allow them, I don't understand, why not forget about the bodies, it's clear what can be used, and just get on with it.

When It's said that the body has to meet tech rules, it mainly will be for window cut outs, wing, body height.

There are tolerances allowed for manufacturing.

I currently got 3 used 2.1 bodies, measured them from the inside and outside of the body. The fronts measured at 203mm, whilst the rears were 205mm.
