well i broke an arm yesterday (bugger) and tamiya have not releced any spare parts yet so my tnx will be sitting on the shelf untill they do (the only down side of getting such a new truck). One thing i must say to any one that gets one is up grade the brake disk. They do not last long as i found out the hard way . Another thing is do not use the primer on the fuel tank that tamiya puts on all their gas cars because they have a tendency to shit them selves just take the line off the exaust and blow. its a much more efective way of getting fuel up to the carby
apart from that the truck is orsm

Put your finger over the stinger to seal the exhaust hole, and use the electric starter to turn the engine over a few times. It will suck fuel to the carb.

i love my tnx 5.2r!!! i was just out driving along the street and like heaps of people came out to watch i bet they liked the wheelies the most and the little kids liked it when it rolled over and when my tank ran out all the people were like cheering and whisilting! lol!!!

i dont regret it and i absolutely cant wait to take it for a bash at the local skool

thanks terry, you convinced me to buy the tnx and it was the right choice.

i hope that part comes in quick for you cant wait to see the hop ups and i too found the breaks a tad bit not good

The arms are identical to the pillow ball suspension kit for the TNX3.0 when I had the TNx i picked up a full set from ebay for around $40. IT will come with 8 arms pivot balls amd caps.

how much would a new set of rims and tires cost new? i want something with lots of grip since my wheelies are becoming limited due to driving on the road and losing grip

Proline Bowties or Crimefighter should do the trick, around $90-$100 for tyres and foams. Proline velocity wheels should set you back about $60 for a set of 4.

Check out ebay.
