Found this great website
Hey guy's
I found this great gear website, What do you think.
This website enables you to calculate your transmission ratios for RC racing cars and to create tables of preponderance.
All you have to do is click on the type of car you are running.
So you can make up a chart by typing in a pinion say from 20 through to 30 and a spur from 96 through to 110 and it will give you a chart to print out.
Enjoy

That is a good website to calculate transmission ratios. I've been using this one as it has a bigger variety of cars and also gives you a rollout chart. http://www.gearchart.com/index.cfm?f...n=chart.create

I wrote a roll out calculator for our clubs website
http://www.actmcrc.org.au/technical.htm
there is also a basic gear ratio calculator and a function to calculate a pinion size for a desired roll out at the bottom of the page.
