Default Adelaide Nitro ON-ROAD

Hi,
I was wondering how big Nitro on road is in Adelaide. There seems to be a fair bit of off road and electric but I can't seem to find much On-Road clubs. I thought I might start this thread to see what sort of interest there is and also to talk to other Nitro On roaders about what they are up to, where they shop, what cars/engines/parts are good in Adelaide etc. Maybe we could even start up a club in Adelaide close to the CBD?
I was in California recently and RC OnRoad is HUGE there. It would be good to get some tracks going here too!

Please respond because I would love to talk to other local "Clean" Nitro heads.

Thanks

litlehampton recently held the nationals for onroad nitro. they have an awesome track. can't remember their website address, but it's on the forum here in the onroad nationals thread.

How do you work out that Hobby Habit thread = nitro onroad? What about all the people who race at LH, or in car parks?
I like this idea of a new thread for Generic Adelaide On Road Nitro, it seems a bit more independant and hence we might get others who do not post to HH thread.

Unfortunately There are only two tracks in Adelaide, one is up in the Hills at Littlehampton. I think there was one out north at Parks but I wasn't into rc when it was running.

I race at Littlehampton when Im not busy with work.
Most 1/10 run a mugen chassis with a nova mill, as I do.
Need all the HP you can get as it is a big track.

I used HHs track once and found it to be to small and very unforgiving
even if you just rub on the boards.

Why dont we all meet at Littlehampton and have some fun!!!

Hobby Habit is an indoor asphalt track which allows nitro onroad, you wont get much closer to the CBD than they area They have fortnightly racing too for nitro onroad cars.

Keep in mind Adelaide has a small population compared to any of the cities in California, racing here will never be as big or as popular as it is there simply because of the population size.

The thread starter commented that there wasnt much on Rctech in the way of SA nitro onroad. I beg to differ - the last 30 pages of the HHI thread have been primarily onroad nitro discussion.

I provided a straightforward answer to a straightforward question. I apologise for the confusion.

The hobby Habit thread is meant for talk about Hobby Habit this thread should be used for nitro onroad to keep the Hobby Habit thread clean for talk about Hobby Habit!

hmmm it seems that by talking Nitro on road on a thread titled with a shops name we are excluding many other nitro on-roaders than we thought. I agree with you there Rhys.

I went to LH for the Nationals and loved the track. I love the HH track too though, its like comparing Monaco to Hockenheim.

How many people are there racing at Littlehampton these days?
