ROTFL - yeah, you taught me about cooking oil at Maitland last time ...it has "stuck" with me ever since.

I ended up getting a Turbo Diesel Astra..freaking nice car to drive - so much so that even DYKM has decided to "be like Daz" and get one too..I feel so important now!!

Thanks for the well wishes guys.

Cheers

Any members wanting to borrow a club transponder for Maitland?

If there's demand, I'll bring them along (provided there is space in the car after Bugle's RC-10T gets packed).

Pete, the idea of it is so its like we're running a personal transponder, we dont have to rush up to race control and put the club one in for the race and return it after the race, the st ives club transponder will stay in my car all day, just the code will need to be entered into alycat in the morning

If you have the numbers, pm jc99 and he will update it for you.
Make sure you tell him who you are.

Hi Guys,

I am really dissapointed to be typing this, but I wont be able to make the Maitland round. I have tried to improve the manangement of the pain, but unfortunately the drive up there and the subsequent racing would be simply to much. I am sure the St Ives crew will compete with the passion they always do......just wish I was going to be there to be a part of it.

Hopefully I may be well enough for the "clash" in December.

Go get em boys.

Cheers

Darryn

thats a real shame Darryn, i wanted to see the match up of my kyosho vs ur rango, we'll have to wait for the clash then, but dude, if ur in pain, driving 2 hours and all the movement for racing over the weekend, i dont blame u, it wouldnt be fun, rest up champ, we'll miss u in the pits for the jokes and on the track for the awesome racing

I went to the track today for the first time, in prep for the JConcepts clash... and boy... it was drift city... even at very low speeds..

What tyres are you guys running ???

nice work baggs, the racing and rivalry has been awesome and in good spirits (bourbon etc) all year and has been very enjoyable, the st ives club has come a long way in recent years and has an amazing group of members who love racing the club meets and the bigger meets, I think the challenging track has sharpened up a lot of the skills too, well mine anyway, though theres still a lot of sharpening to do
catchya
