thanks for the wicked day of racing at ives fellas.....off to a slow sart but come through to a flying finish...bit like my driving really
had a really good race with ash on his touring car tyres in one final, then stuffed it up chasing him in the 2nd final.....
was awesome to get some grip on the rear of the slash's,then we could really shine, and show off some of the carnage that ryde viewers get to enjoy i think i come 2nd in the final with all the spectators....will be back next time with massive HP to jump that triple.....really enjoyed racing there today, and catching up with some people and saying hi...also meeting some of the st ives racers..
well done toddy for getting the win possibly in mod truck..well done mate......
Ant,as always it was great to watch yor runs mate.....love the ALL BUSINESS black theme yor cat has too....
well done St Ives, thanks letting us come round and run on yor track,i will be back.....
where do we check results?
Yeah the slashes go hard with some decent tyres, the ones running buggy wheels were a bit funny looking though
Results are on the website if you click on point score, then '2009 series 1',then click on the header of the column with todays date, that'll load the race meet and you can click on the different classes at the top to get all the heats/finals for each class.
That had to be one of the busiest meets we've done recently.
Seeing all the Slash trucks running buggy rears was brilliant.
Great to see all the novices having a go today. In regards to the crystals thing, maybe it would make more sense for the club to invest in a few sets? Let the novices put their savings towards tires and spares.
Here's a radical idea I've been thinking about to solve the marshalling - Marshall BEFORE your race. Cars get lined up in the pit area, you go out and marshall, once the race is over you pick up your car and head straight to the drivers stand. If you didn't marshall, you don't race.
Provides very good incentive to marshall. Should also improve turnaround between races as you just have to grab your car and head straight for the driver's stand.

im looking for one for my b44. seeing as i broke 2 arms. (may of been my pretty stupid driving)

Usually when they say indoor the range is around 70m maximum in ideal conditions "indoors" so probably about 20m outdoors typically...
Would be nice to see a micro come out for the FASST though!!!

that's a downer. I have the 603, but it's so big. Works really well though. May have to go the spektrum hammer if I want a small receiver.
Thanks dudes!

Shippaz, the bumper is okay in the event of a head on collision, but it won't prevent you (or me) breaking arms.
In regards to marshalling, I believe there should be a short lesson before racing for new novice drivers. It's a bit much to expect for them to know where to stand, where to look (their corner only and not the race) and to act quickly if they have not done this before. Also how about putting out those marshall point locator's for each meet as were used in the inter club challenge?

Yep, on the turps. I have a week of total hell starting tomorrow. So this is the only way to avoid anxiousness and get to sleep. Then bring it on
Yeah the Schuie is tight, not much room in there. I just like the idea os smaller gear.
The 6.5 was really good on the track, although was a little tricky with low traction this Sunday. My driving was so wacked out in the finals, not sure why, and didn't care cause it was fun.
10 cars in mod, insane. I can't recall crashing on the triple. Loving the track more and more.
