They run 1/10th electric like St Ives. Strictly no Nitro at any time on their track. They have a neighbour who will call the council in an instant.

Maitland City too.

Would one of those 6000mah Intellect lipos go a whole club day without requiring charging in 4wd stock? Or would I get a noticeable performance drop by the finals?

One racer at Ryde does that. But he uses to 2 Lipos for one car. Whole day no charging.

I generally find after a 5 minute race (8.5 motor) the voltage is at 8.2V using up 1700 mha, but after 20 minutes of practice voltage can be as low as 7.65V. I guess for Stock, voltage is essential for speed and power.

I did it a couple of times last year.
2 6000 lipos, no tools, no spares, no charging equipment.
Just went for race practice. It's amazing how your approach changes when all you have is a Transmitter and your car.

also has the 8.5t motor its like $455 from rchobbies of course ill have to run mod but i dont mind to much

Shippaz, take note that Novak will not accept any warranty if a Novac item is purchased from outside your own country. They normally carry a 120 warranty period, but if you purchase from outside your country (grey area) you will be responsible for paying a replacement fee if anything goes wrong. I now have to pay $45 US for a replacement unit, $15us handling fee and $55us to send it back. is it really worth it for a faulty ESC that would normally be fixed for free. I'm not sure what other Brands do but that''s Novaks policy.

I dont think it would last the day, i know lipos are good, but even they cannot change the laws of electricity captain, after talking to people after 4wd races to see how much theyre putting back in the packs and looking at my own packs, people seem to be putting in 1500-1700 mah after a race, obviously there are variables, but best case scenario, out of a 6000 pack, u'll get 4 races. At the enduro, i geared my 4wd down and drove conservativley and got 23 mins out of my 4900 trakpower.

ok no worries ive decided to buy the novak 17.5 brand new with esc from tower hobbies and then ill run LIPO but if i buy the esc first and batteries later i can just play with me 5000mah intellect pack i already have.
probably the best bet. my jato got bid on ebay for $120. motor is seized and its only good for parts it should pay for the motor and esc. does towerhobbies send to aus but? has anyone had dealings with them? they have a good price for the motor and esc

cheerss.

Yeah, they're reputable. You'd better PM Old Skoolie and ask how he arrived at AUD$185. He probably has some discount codes you'll need to acquire to get that price.

If it is $185 delivered, that's pretty awesome value.
