I think Frontline Hobbies played the most part in my lack of points the first half year Over 6 weeks to replace an ESC under warranty is criminal (when they had them in the store after 2).

Actually I've got Tom to thank for showing me the light with brushed motors again. What are you running in the Losi Mick?

Yeah for sure.... After totalling mine I would've looked for another car to destroy/drive....

The BK2 has a brand new GTX & a Ko Propo PS-1001 fet servo in it,
The XX4WE has the Tekin G10 squashed in it with another PS-1001 fet servo.
I'm torn between the 2 classes, stock and mod . If there are enough drivers for a full field of stock I'm there for the close battle, but then I miss the brute horsepower and wheel stand 2wd mod has to offer.
4wd well once I get the set uo right I'm sure once the Vics are over it'll have a 9x2 glued in it........

Would be hard trying to drive a tower without having it fall over and spear a poor marshall!

Yea should've just bought more complete B3 parts cars rather than buy new parts

After watching the race off between ben and tom, it was a lot of fun to see to quality drivers going head to head, it has got me thinking, for the end of the year , how about a 1 lap dash for qualifying followed by a dunny darby, all entrants to supply an portable dunny or caravan built out of balso wood or simmilar material, sitting on a live axle and connected to each car for the race, and the winner is the person at the end of 5 minuted that has the most intact dunny or caravan.

Great to hear that everyone enjoyed the day. The race off was great, it certainly created a lot of interest and was fun to watch. Congrats to both Ben and Tom, you put on a fantastic show.

We went out and purchased a new printer today, and I think that I will try and get another (identical) as a back up. Bring back the 'Quill and Ink' slow but sure.

All the very best of luck to our members going to the Vic Titles. Hope you do well and enjoy your racing.

We found the top of a Thermal cup, if anyone is looking for it will have it at the next meet. (If you need it before then give us a bell and will find a way to get it to you.)

Thanks to Stuart for the donation of the car for the Junior encouragement award, and congrats to Samantha. As Stuart stated on Sunday, her help is so valued and she was a brilliant choice for this award.

Regards,
Tony and Marg.
