Default RE: Charger & Discharger for sale

After another wet weekend and purchasing on the internet I now have a charger and a single cell discharger for sale as follows:

Charger is a Muchmore Cell Master for $150

Discharger is the Muchmore CTX-D version 2 for $200

or both for $310

Thought I'd give any St Ives members first dig at these before I advertise them.

PM or call Michael on 0405 504 609.

getting some new hex drivers for sure - got the xxx-4 btw (waz, want a few clicks of it on sunday? I have a new body/wing and the whole things in very nice condition), and having going out of my mind all day about the wobbling spur gear in the xxx-4 ive found out its perfectly normal. something weird is going on in the front diff though, the right front outdrive somtimes pops out about 5mm but operates fine, and i can disengage or engage the one way effect by twisting one of the front wheels backwards!!

also, the discharger is not working properly, i.e. the cells have been discharging for like a day and a half and aren't down yet... could be the way i put the LEDs in, maybe the resistors are doing nothing and the LEDs are the only thing draining power....

In regard to photo's, I'll happily take some but only photos of paid members get on the web (which is a bummer coz I'd love to put the photo of Vince's Tamiya up there...). I have some good photos of the Rustler from the other weekend too . Just another reason to become a paid member. disclaimer: if you, or any party has paid for your membership in the past week, please only read the first eight words of this message.

Diff outdrive shouldn't pop out I'd reckon... I don't know anything about Losi diffs though. Does it have a multi-diff kind of setup? If not, sounds like your diff bolt has gone bye-bye. If that's the case be careful when taking the housing apart so that you don't lose the diff balls. It's an easy fix, and a common problem. Just ask Ben and Michael. Sounds like it has a front one-way, the drive cups can move in and out of the one-way bearing. There should be a little spring between the drive cup and the dogbone, which will stop the cup from popping out, or you can use a small piece of tyre foam o do the same thing.

You will probably be better off replacing the one-way with a diff anyway,

Quick Robbin - hand me the anti-shark spray!
lol

yeah thanks for the help tom, there spring was all bent so i replaced it with foam

the discharger is working fine, i found out that the side by side pack i had completely run down then discharged with one bulb (till the bulb went out) had about 5 mins of charge still in it (wtf?!?!) then i ran that down and put it back on the discharger and it took about half an hour

Default XXX-4 G+

planning? pfft - I've got the CO27 in there, the heatsink modified futaba mc330cr speedy, unfortunately i only have the bulky traxxas receiver that sits between the motor and servo (traxxas, works well enough though - getting a spektrum for like $15 though) and is propped up on the side of the chassis

im still using my old batteries, in the market to some some gp's or something asap!

loving the 4wd feel again, off power the front wheels spin freely, the car doesn't lose much speed when you let off the throttle, great off power steering - thie motor stays very cool - you can keep your finger on for about 6 full seconds - feels good to have some quality back in my hands

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO XXX4!

-Jack

P.. Jerome, I'll bring your silver medal ready for sunday
