i dont even race nitro or off road and i know mugen has the reputation for sweet buggies but the hyper 8 keeps on surpiriseing people who doubt it for its price so imo its reputation= price no rep low price

Get the Hyper 8 with a Hobao Mach-21 turbo motor and run it on Hot Stuff super lube 66 it works fine for me I also use a Peak racing V6 adjustable clutch with Nosram poewr pipe

Any reason why only those 2 buggies? What about the X1 CR Pro?

Cheers

Mugen are about to bring out a MBX5R.

There is a X1 CR Pro about to end on ebay.

well i was considering one of those...
until i seen one drive today, was a little dissapointed to see how it went against the other buggies
getting beatin in speed and jumps
so i think i'm leaning towards the MBX-5

I was not there today but i know the one you are talking about the reason for his trouble is he has an old engine in his car and it keeps flaming out on him and better jumps comes with more speed! also he is a monster truck driver and is still getting use to the buggies! I will be going out to the mv track next weekend and giving my lightning pro 2 a go so i can get in some practice before the states.
