For those in Sydney Hobbyco has the Ford Focus and I think the NSX versions on sale for $129. Cheaper than a mini!

We had our first class of TT's at Whalan on the weekend. Definitely a good cheap class to run. Im in and I can bring in another 3 guys to run it again.

Maybe we can start running a TT-01 class at the hill since a few guys are/will be turning up to practice for the big one in October.

Would there be any interest or possibility of a TT01 class at SMA?

Most of the guys that ran will be running TCS this year so we stick to the rules except open rubber tires & rims.

I will start running at the hill and will be good if we can get this up and running.

Are you looking at tuesday or Sunday meets? Think you need 3 or 4 people t run a class.

Might be interested in running the usual 540 and TT01 on Tuesdays as I've missed out on so much racing lately (if I can leave the office in time)

Default Ryper tt01 class

I used to run TT01 at ryper in wa for 3 seasons the basic rules were must be rubber tyres only hop ups were any tamyia gear alloy shaft and sport tuned motor and open speedie and was upto 3300 batterys but that was b4 3800 came out and well with the gearing in the diffs it didnt matter if you had matched 3300 of 1700 nicad every car was pritty much the same i ran the stock speedie for 2 seasons then went upto a ko i gained all of 5 seconds per race but must say its a super fun class and awsome for new comers

Might want to check that.

My understanding is the XB series are the RTR TT01's
The QD's are "toy cars" which share similar body shells. (solid swing axle rear suspension, 9.6V batteries and I think either a 2 speed speed controller or gear box).

MB Sorry. I forgot that I was thinking that they were the XB. So you can't get a good car for $99 What is faster a tt-01 or a hpi sprint 2
