You might want to be more specific on that rule esp considering it is usually the biggest class.... From what I have just read, I could stick a 27t arm in a V2 can and wind up the timing...

I assume you mean a "ROAR legal" motor (27t mach wound, drill balanced, bushings, locked 24d timing, non soldered winds etc...) and would included motors like the integy "king of stock"?

Hey guys from act.

So the track is carpet, never raced on carpet b4.

What tyres etc seem to work well, a few may be coming down to race the titles in july.

Wouldn't mind a bit of a heads up as it were.

Cheers guys

Seeing as its on carpet, what about 1/12 Scale? How many entries do you need for a class to run? I can think of half a dozen that may be interested. Has anyone run a 1/12 pan car on this track?

Foam tyres are the go.

Pretty much as Monaro described it. I run 40's on the front and 35's on the rear on Mod.

In the rubber end I ran Sorex 36's and the car was very drivable, but was nearly a lap of the pace when compared to Foam.

Hi Decathalon,

This is the 4th running of the indoor titles and every year we have offered a 1/12 class. the only time the class was actually run was in 2004, and even then is was a pretty small field.

This year we figured it just was not worth it so we decided on offer a 23t stock motor class.

Hi Dragon, thanks for the heads up, I think Monaro dug out the detailed rules for you. So there is a ROAR spec and a AARCMCC spec. Cool.

For thoes of you who like to push the boundaries my post in this thread is just an over view. For the complete rules visit the ACTMCRC webiste (WWW.actmcrc.org.au) and check out the club rules.

Just wondering what the (.05 can motor) refers too in the Stock rules.

Cheers
