AS I said before, a sale guy in Jaycar said that they normally have very few so fi first in best dressed

As for why none to SA. If you picked Aussie Post for $9.50. Well they could post it to Sydney for $9.50 but I doubt it to SA. Sorry guys

BTW, mine has been running for over 12 hours and so far no problems

Angry No supply - no email

Didn't Get mine either.

No email - was still billed on my CC, so I called them up.

Just rang them up. When the web orders where printed out they have to be manually keyed into their system.

They have three people entering the orders, they didnt put them in order number sequence. You would think they would - but not JayCar...

That explains why people who ordered earlier than "cannon" didn't see there unit.

What else can I say

At least it will be put to good use, matching all those cells

Would have been nice to get one but that's the way it goes...

Looks like I hit the "purchase" button too soon as well.

Despite being on their website ordering 2 supplies literally within 10 minutes of the initial rctech post, today I received my order - minus the power supplies.

I think it's very unfair that I missed out but someone (anyone) who tried to get them after me was successful.

I got no email apologising or even informing me they weren't available. Just a receipt for my other bits in the order.

Sorry Jaycar, but that just plain sucks. I spend a lot of money with them in one way and another - they can consider it spent elsewhere from now on. I know one cranky customer in thousands is pretty much insignificant, but it's the priciple of the thing.

Got to agree with Scott .... I would be very unhappy. They need to improve how they handle this in the future

when they have those unit's up for sale it's common knowledge that they do not last long.

if it's a sale item & they happen to run out of stock it's not up to them to fill the orders with new product. however if you can prove that your order was put in before another party & the system (jaycar website) accepted the order then & only then you may have a leg to stand on.

first in best dressed does not always apply it would seem.

I'm not upset that I missed out - I'm aware there were a limited number, they are supposedly repaired units, first in best dressed, etc etc. I'm upset that I missed out, and people who placed their orders after me got their order filled no problems. You can't tell me that's a fair way of doing business.

But anyhow.. More beer money this way

Just for those that "Tried" to buy one of these power supplies, check your CC statement.

After buying one, and even being told that it was coming, they send an email three days later saying that my order was cancelled.

Just to add insult to injury, it has taken me a week and a half to get a bloody refund out of the bastards.

I will NEVER be purchasing ANYTHING from Jaycar again. I will also make sure I tell EVERYBODY what bastards these people are.

If you have any problems just call

1800 022 888

and ask for Jessie. He is the manager of the Tech Store and has dealt with all the problems caused by the over ordering of the power supplies... he will make sure the CC is credited again.
