Just completed the resurrection of my SP12M last night, all I need to do is instal a motor. How fast do we need to go?
I think that 19 turn will be plenty fast enough if people get the gear ratios correct. But anything faster should be fine also.
BK- is that 8x2 I loaned you still useful?? Or turned purple with parts missing from the armature?

In case anyone wants to know... The new Corally 12x does accept Corally wheels and "US" type wheels.

i think 19t 4cell is not fast enough although you 12th scale vets could run em so us mere mortals can keep up ,bersercoe should run a sports tuned so we all can keep up

I was just thinking that any brand 19Turn spec motors (not handwound) are cheap as chips (less than $100 retail), and will also last forever with 4 cells.
But 8x2, 8x3 would be sweet. So much grunt that it is a challenge and so much smoother than 19T or 27T.
I have run my 1/12th down at the Jets in the early days of SMA, traction was not an issue at all.
Looking forward to it.
Regards,

When can we expect to see a 12X on your pit table Black Knight?
I should get my arse into gear and build my CRC T-Fource. Plenty of chassis types locally now for people to have a peek at........
