Thumbs up *****TCS 2006 AUSTRALIA*****

I know that a thread was started earlier but can't seem to find it, so Im going to start it again.
At this time we are waiting till after the Toy Fair to have a meeting with Tamiya to organise rules for this year. But look at both asia and europe seems that these section are moving away from the world betting cars of the 415msx and focusing on the the new TA05. We have seen with last year that changes have to be made inreguards to stock. But what I have heard from Japan last year I would think that classes from last year should stay but there could be some changes to some of the cars aloud. But time will tell.
Please be patient I will let you know as soon as I can, but I have contact with clubs in Qld already wanting to get a team together this year. So it should be good to see these drivers back in TCS.

Any word on a class for the new direct driver tourer/gt chassis Trevor? That would be fun.

Such a shame to hear that they may be going back to the TA05 as the highest level car. I know why, but it is disappointing. Makes me less inclined to do TCS even though its perhaps the event I look forward to the most in the year.

I'm not saying that will or will not happen but you only have to look at the those two sections to see a change. But North America is still running the same rules as last year and we could to, but I won't know till after the meeting with Tamiya.

Well seeing I enjoy the event so much, I'd probably go out and buy another chassis to race that, but yeh, would RATHER not. I don't think that many people would like to do that either, so sticking to the 05 rules at least for just the national event would probably be a good idea I think, but yes, depends on what Tamiya says.

Fingers crossed.

I can't see that off-road would go and with a new buggy coming out. I think it will stay.

At this stage not sure would be good to go interstate but seeing tha brissy hasn't real support the event in the last two years chances are slim. Even though WA have and there are right behind TCS its the traveling that could hirt people going across. I hope to have a meeting with TT in the next week or so, so I should be able to let you know then. Have been getting interest from a lot of clubs to come and race TCS this year want to start preparing so as soon as I know I'll let you guys know.
