Sorry one and all. I appear to have added the dates incorrectly. The dates are 13-15th of January not the 14-16th of January.
Sorry if this caused any confusion.
I have dm the moderators to update. If one sees this can you please update the title and url.

Wow that's early scheduling in the year. Why the shift away from the second half of the year?

Plus no ACT titles at this stage next year (normally Feb) and NSW and VIC are seemingly moving away from March as a preference and into April.
So means we are not 6months between 2016 Nats and first states for 2017
Nothing to stop another event in SA later in the year either (as a non championship event)

By holding it the same weekend as IMCC Cup you have taken away the option of NSW and ACT drivers possibly attending

This is part of the reason for changing the AARCMCC rules to allow sanctioning of "non-championship" events. To avoid clashes like this if possible.
If clubs choose not to let the EP committee know of planned major events - it's pretty damn hard to avoid.

It hard to avoid that when it's not communicated in advance.

Not sure I will get to this one, but hopefully. I would like to race once at hobby habit, and the sa crowd are a friendly bunch to share a weekends racing with.
