2016 XRAY Racing Series @ Castle Hill Off Road EP10 OFR 11/12/16
Hey dudes
At the end of another long year of racing (though its gone very quickly indeed) Hobby Express International (HEI) are teaming up with the Castle Hill off road club again to bring you the Xray Racing series for 2016. This is a great way to finish off the year of intense racing with a more relaxed meet. Also its our first big race on the new layout, so a good chance to get your eye in before the club series kicks off next year.
Classes will be 2wd Junior, 2wd Stock, 2wd Mod, 4wd Stock, 4wd mod, SCT and Stadium Truck. No cross-entering between stock and mod. Truck classes open for anyone to enter. If you intend on entering multiple classes and the race schedule has you racing back to back races, you must supply your own marshal and let race control know who your substitute is.
All classes will be run to AARCMCC rules, we’ll be running 3 qualifiers and 3 A finals, we’ll try and run 3 finals for lower finals dependant on time. Qualifying will be IFMAR staggered start but fastest time will count (rocket round) for your qualifying position. Finals will be best 2 results count, fastest race time as the tie breaker
Entry fees are $20 for your first class, $10 per additional class
BBQ lunch will be available and drinks available all day
At this stage we'll be looking to have a drivers meeting at 8am with racing starting at 830 but thats subject to change based on entry numbers etc
Entries will be taken via the alycat online entry program and you can pay on the day. The race is already up on alycat, please go here to enter www.alycat.com/oed
Track will be closed in the morning (like club series) however there are club meetings Sunday 6th November and 20th November to get your eye in and the track is open to the public all other times
Castle Hill off road club appreciate the support of Greg and Ari through HEI and of course their Northern Beaches Hobby Centre http://www.nbhc.com.au/ offer great service and a great range of products
Cheers and we look forward to seeing you there

Little low on Stadium Truck and 2wd Junior Stock, hope to get a few more otherwise we will need to look at combining these with other classes. Warmup meet today went well and the track is primed ready to go next weekend!

XRAY Racing Series - 2016
We have hit 120 entries!
We will continue to take ONLINE entries until 4:30pm Wednesday afternoon - At this point NO MORE entries will be accepted.
This will give the club time to plan the day and get back to everyone with a solid start time - It is going to be early so everyone who has traveled will be able to get home at a reasonable hour.
It will also be helpful if people can bring the correct money for entries. I know this may not be possible/convenient but it will make things go a lot faster on the morning of the event.
ALSO, the track will be closed at 4:00pm on Saturday to give the track team time to do any repair work needed - There will be NO PRACTISE on the morning of the event.
Thanks guys.
Cale
