I would like 8 tracks in Victoria maybe 10 of all different surfaces to try and race and enjoy. I would like as many RC clubs as tennis clubs. Obviously that's a pipe dream but hey, I don't think there was a need to knock an opportunity or suggestion for something new. It's not hair brained.

I never bagged the current tracks. I just want more. More car manufacturers, more tracks, more electronics, more hobby shops, more competitors, more everything. More the better.

Unfortunately everyone wants to protect their little patch, be exclusive and the best. I don't care about that. I want growth and to promote the hobby/sport in it's entirety. Your actions in helping at every event is highly commendable and an example of for the betterment of RC not just one club or make or whatever it is.

Anyway - this should be in another thread but couldn't help it. I agree Mr America's comments were too negative. There was goop everywhere. I used it and so did lots of others. Sometimes it worked well, sometimes it didn't. It was stated at the drivers meeting as legal and put to rest. I understand your reply was directed at he but still..... You bagged an idea, an idea I still feel is a good idea.

There's too much negativity on all sides happening at the moment especially on social media. There's also too much exclusivity. It really needs to stop. People need to start doing things for the greater good of the sport not just their little patch weather it be a manufacturer, track, committee, driver or family.

The event went very well, the racing was as good as every event I've been to and the track was much better than it has been the last few months. I've yet to go to an event where the A Main in Mod has not been met with oooohs and ahhhs and this was no different. Let's keep it going everywhere and grow.
have to agree would be nice for greater track surface variety
but id say pipe dream Ant... how big is your backyard?

from what i saw there were those that did use additive, and unless its control or just not allowed, hard to argue with those that use it and put in the effort to find something that works.

my only concern was the scrutineering, yes i know people volunteer and give up their own race weekend to do it, but it was sub par for such a big event as a Victorian titles, when there are cars that make the whole day without stickers, or when people have just taken a sticker off the roll without and checking that is just not on. Each driver should have needed to be marked off along with tyres.

I hope in future this gets addressed.

The committee is currently working through the rerun date and will advise shortly. Anyone who cant make it can get a refund and anyone who couldnt make the first date can enter the new date.

Will post here as soon as there is a date confirmed.

Those who have entered but cant make the re-run will have their entry fee to be returned; entries will be open for those who couldn't make the original date. Jason will send emails to all who entered the original event. More info to follow.
