There's my 2 potential purist runners.
The Scorpion driver was a heap easier to get at than some of the Tamiya drivers, however, I've always wondered how I'd go if I spent as much time on car prep as I do on eyebrows?

I hadn't noticed your eyebrows before Splatt, I'll make sure I pay more attention at the festival!

I'd like to get my hands on a rere Tomahawk for the 2WD Classic class. Anyone got a lead on where these are available at a great price?

Stella has them too Jason. For similar $$ once you factor in the exchange rate.

Hey Clint.

I'll be campaigning an all-Tamiya fleet this year, being :

Fox (modded) - in stock or purist
Astute/Madcap hybrid - mod
Blackfoot - truck
Bigwig - shot class
Terra Scorcher - misfits
Top Force Evo - mod

Can't wait for this event. It's gonna be awesome!

Looks like my entry list will be something like:

Scorpion - Purist
A Car - Plastic
Blitzer Beetle - Truck

Boomer - Shot
Shogun/Rocky - Misfit
Terra Conqueror/Terra Scorcher - Stock

Of course this is all subject to change on a poorly explained whim

wow some big efforts there guys!!

depending on how far I get with prep, i'll have the following

4wd stock - Tamiya Top force (Needs rebuild after enduro)
4wd classic - Tamiya Baja king (needs a bit of a rebuild and electronics installed)
Misfits - Tamiya Fire dragon (halfway through light rebuild atm)

2wd Stock - Tamiya Bear hawk (pretty much ready to rumble, just needs tyres glued)
2wd Classic - Tamiya Dyna storm (in pieces in a shoe box atm)
Plastic - Tamiya Sonic Striker (just bought for $15 off gumtree, needs work, lol)

One little request i have guys is if your RCtech handle isnt obviously your name like Stephen Ian James or as known as someone like Capt. Splatt (Dean), do us a favour and tack your name at the bottom of your post so people can associate the name with who they've been chatting with on RCtech so they can say gday at the festival in September

We've got more interest this year again and some new faces will be joining us for the first time, so we welcome them to join in the chat here and obviously at the event. There's plenty of people here who've been to enough of these things so they can answer any questions you have

cheers

Mikey
