General rules for GP:
• A minimum of 8 entries per class is required, for said class to run.
• Qualifying will be rocket rounds system.
• Any sedan bodies with EFRA approval for Tourer.
• All finals will be the ABC system. A-30 minutes, B-20 minutes, C-10 minutes and all lower final will be 5 minutes. • The top three from the lower finals will bump up to the next final.
• All heats for GP will be 5 minutes each with 8 cars in the heats and minimum of 4 cars in the finals.
Event schedule clearly states 5min heats, A-30 minutes, B-20 minutes, C-10 minutes and all lower final will be 5 minutes.

After speaking to Walter Hobbies today they have advised that GT will be running 7 minute qualifiers (as they do now at club days) and the final will be 35 mins to fall in line with the length of the qualifiers.
So Bruce you best hang on to your 3m of fuel tube.
Get those entries in.......

list of entries
Hi
Is there any chance of a list of entries being uploaded so we can see who is entered in which class and if sufficient numbers are entered for each class.

7 minute heats is not a new thing it's always been that way...... and the GT cars run a 150cc tank as apposed to a pan car that runs a 125cc tank.

Go and look at the club day timetable that barg put out today you'll see that 7 min heats are the norm.

I can see the logic with the fuel tank size.
The GT rules allows 21 - 28 sized engines, pushing the time out to 7mins heats 35min is forcing the point of only running a 21 to make run time.
I'm not saying the 21 are slower, its punishing anyone who brought differently as the Roma 25 or the 28 wont make 7mins.
close but wont make 7mins....

Perhaps your Roma won't make 7 mins but I know other Romas do. When racing at Moorebank they have run nothing but 7 min heats and this was the same last year as Matt pointed out. You actually ran 7 min heats last year when running your GT at Moorebank.
I believe Bruce has some fuel line for sale that may come in handy by the sounds of it.

My Roma 25 won't make 7min but it is a little faster than the 21. Don't worry Rick a 5min splash and dash in the heats will be exciting. running guys up the 21s that don't need the stop. Maybe?? Will the Team C cars give the serpents a good run for the serpent cup?? It should be fun.I'm keen for the extra long racing. A 35 min final will be awesome. I will be running my 5 min Roma in the final
