AARCMCC 2013 IC On Road Nationals (3rd -7th October)

Not sure if you guys realise is HOLIDAYS in italy this month. That means the whole country goes on holidays and when they come back they have massive amounts of back orders to be filled. They look after their neighbours and big volume customers first and they look after us last.
This mean not only is it way too late to place a massive order of control tyres which would only half arrive(ask any tyre importer) you guys would be hard pressed getting what you want for the nationals if you havent already arranged what you need.
In short-----NO control tyres for this event.
Hopefully some sort of tyre inspection/ marking system will be put in place to try and control pre gooping otherwise it will be same shit as every year.

It is quite simple
There will be NO controlled tyres for the Nationals - it was one of the options we have looked at in conjunction with AARCMCC along with other ways of managing tyres and allegations of use of tyre treatment.
So under NO circumstances will treated tyres be allowed at the nationals and under the AARCMCC rules there are substantial penalties that can be applied.
One further option we have investigated lat club meeting is the use of sugar water as a tool to improve the traction to the level that there will be no advantage in using additives. All of the feedback we have had so far has been positive in that it has helped and current plans are that we will by spraying the track up to the nationals - as we will also do for the Large Scale NSW champs at the end of this month.
Regarding entry we will be posting this up soon now these matters have been resolved.
So lets get back to real racing.

I can believe all this a decision needs to be made either way long term.Ic is dead in Wa and Sa it's not all about winning as some of us will never reach the finals in the nats but if it keeps going in this direction with with no direction from the top the nats will only need to be run on the Sunday with no rain day.

What I'm saying is people are becoming despondent with this tyre issue if it can't be monitored which cant , controlled it . There is only one way, controlled tyres otherwise this will kill Ic on road and the numbers will drop off .
