When we used to race 1/12 there (10.5 nimh!!) We used Purple front, Pink rear, i'd say that would still be the ticket or Magenta fronts

Well I've got plenty of those.

It does look like quite a nice track for 10.5, obviously something faster will be needed for open Mod.

I'm trying to line up a work visit to Adelaide so I can make it down. We'll see what happens. Potentially this could be a championship debut for an Australian made car... but I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself.

The track is one of the best, if not the best tracks for 1/12 in Aus The asphalt provides huge grip for foam tyres, I remember last time I drove my car there, I pretty much ran a locked diff! It would be great so see a full field of them going around there again, hopefully you can make it down with the new car.

I must say when I use to race the 1/12 at Hobby Habit it had so much grip and was awesome to drive.

I'm going to work on coming for sure. I don't have a clash with another meet which is a good start.

There are a few names on the entry list in 12th for the AOC I don't immediately recognise as 12th drivers, so maybe a few Victorians have picked up new cars. Perhaps while you are there you can talk up the SA race and boost the size of the field by getting some of them to come along too.

Practice days for both Thursday and Friday have been extended to be until 8.00pm and $10 cover charge is no longer applicable.

Get your entries in boys and girls.

Cant seem to find any info on the Sakura class, what are the rules? Also, is the venue wheelchair friendly, I can only stand to race but I am in a chair for the rest of the time.

Thanks,
Max

The standard Victorian crew will be coming for the SA States. At this stage I'm pretty sure a few of us will try our hand at 12th scale on Asphalt.... Cant say we will provide any competition but it bumps up the field a little at least.

We are thinking there may be an offroad world champs going on during the downtime as well

Hi Max,
The Sakura class is what they race at Hobby Habit. Sakura chassis using the 9t sensorless hobbywing combo and Nimh batteries.
It doesn't have anything for wheelchairs but we might me able to sort something out for you.
